Hall Hire in Dartford

This is a scheme run by Dartford Borough Council and Kent Police. The purpose of the scheme is to make the Dartford Town Centre a much more safer place for users. If offers a direct link between the Town Centre control room, Dartford Borough Council CCTV Control Room and each member. Members of the scheme range from charity shops, supermarkets to Pubs/Clubs and other Licensed Premises.

The link between members and the controls is made by each member being given their own Radio system. This enables each outlet/member to exchange information immediatley.

As members, Amar Hall managment give their radio set to their SIA regestered Door Supervisors. These supervisors are then kept informed of information which they may find of use whilst on duty at Amar Hall. The Town Centre Scheme has recently won the Safer Business Award. This is a new Home Office standard of good practice where there is a local partnership of stakeholders who work together to make a quantifiable reduction in crime and disorder in the Town Centres.

As the range of events at Amar Hall Dartford varies from, Birthday Parties, Anniversary's to Weddings etc, the managment thought it essential to enrol to the scheme.
